AutoFactoria is committed to the development of Andorran skiing

The company AutoFactoria has signed an agreement with the Andorran Ski Federation (FAE), which reaffirms its commitment to developing the discipline of alpine skiing.

At a press conference, held on May 4, Ada Amengual and Olivier Amengual, representing AutoFactoria, and Pepi Pintat and Carles Visa, as president and manager of the FAE, respectively, have formalized a sponsorship agreement sports in which alpine skiing is expected to be supported. The relationship, initially planned for one year, may be extended depending on the results achieved in this first trial period.

“It is a source of pride for us to be able to help these young people who represent us, as we really like to combine the values of sport with business values,” said Ada Amengual, CEO of AutoFactoria, who was very supportive. enthusiastic about the project presented by the FAE, “since skiing and the slopes are part of the identity of our country.”

Both Pepi Pintat and Carles Visa thanked the trust and interest shown by the company, as the pandemic, from their perspective, has made it difficult to find new sponsors to carry out the different projects of the federation. “I think it’s a company with values very similar to the sport we do, and we’re really happy for them to be part of our family. Thank you very much “, said the manager of the FAE, who highlighted the termination of the sponsorship relationship between Maverick Viñales and the federation, an entity that, according to Max Tissot, director of the alpine section, is shaping collaboration agreements with the Fédération Française de Ski (FFS), so that, among other athletes, Joan Verdú can raise his level in the face of commitments such as the European Cup.

As for AutoFactoria’s relationship with sport, this is not the first time it has been committed to talent in the Principality, as, during the 2021 Dakar Rally, the company sponsored the duo made up of explorer Mike Horn and the pilot Cyril Despres, who took part in a vehicle equipped with a fuel cell and powered by hydrogen. Although it is not official, one of the projects that AutoFactoria considers is to support Andorran rugby.
